Cargo partner has been operating in Poland since 1998 and today is one of the main providers of information logistics and international transport in the country. As of June this year, the company has increased its storage capacity in the city of Brwinów by another 3,000 square meters. The iLogistic center now provides 11,000 square meters of storage space in the temperature range from +15 to +25 ° C, including a 1,000-square-meter customs warehouse space. The facility is located in a Class A building in the MLP II logistics park, southwest of Warsaw and next to the A2 motorway, the most important west-east connection in Poland.
"Thanks to its central location, the Brwinów iLogistic center is an ideal hub for distribution throughout Poland and to many other European destinations," explains the strategic importance of the warehouse Milan Lani from cargo partner. "The immediate vicinity of Warsaw Airport also makes it a strategic place for international air transport. The three thousand square meters we have now added to the facility is dedicated to cross docking activities and bulk storage. ”
In Brwinów, cargo-partner received IFS Logistics and GDP certification. The logistics provider is currently working to obtain HACCP certification for both Brwinów and the Zory iLogistic Center, which provides 6,650 square meters of warehouse space near the special economic zone in Katowice. In combination with a smaller warehouse, cargo-partner in Poznań operates a total warehouse area of almost 20,000 square meters in Poland with more than 13,000 pallet spaces.
The demand for logistics in Slovakia is growing
Only one year after the last expansion of its iLogistic center in Dunajská Streda, cargo partner in Slovakia has again decided to invest in this facility to meet the high demand for warehousing services in the region.
"This investment will help us use the full 14.5 m clear height of the warehouse and increase the number of pallet places per square meter. The expansion will be divided into two phases: During the first phase, we are increasing our capacity by 3,600 pallet spaces and we have also purchased two new forklifts. The second phase will be implemented in early September and will include another 1,600 pallet places served by one new forklift truck, ”says Milan Lani.
Thanks to its direct connection to the Metrans railway container terminal, the warehouse is one of the most important hubs for cargo-partner's rail transport in Europe. Its convenient location offers rail access to most of Europe's major seaports, as well as fast connections from China via the New Silk Road. From its distribution center in Dunajská Streda, cargo-partner supplies components for the automotive industry to leading OEMs in several European countries, including Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic.
The modern warehouses provide 30,300 pallet spaces on 18,300 square meters of warehouse space, including a customs warehouse with an area of 3,300 square meters. Together with the Bratislava Logistics Center, cargo-partner in Slovakia owns a total of 26,500 square meters of warehouse space with more than 44,000 pallet spaces and offers its customers a wide range of value-added services.
Chilled foods have their place in Dobrovíz
In the Czech Republic, the cargo partner pays special attention to warehousing with distribution solutions for food products and perishable goods. In the iLogistic center in Dobrovíz near Prague Airport, the company offers storage at a temperature of +15 to +25 ° C and in a cold with temperatures of +2 to +8 ° C). In order to expand its expertise and complement its portfolio of services in the food industry, cargo-partner took over the Czech company Gibon Logistics on 1 June 2021.
"Gibon Logistics offers unique fulfillment solutions for the transport of refrigerated food," emphasizes Milan Lani. "This will allow us to provide our customers with tailor-made services for any shipment size, from individual pieces to pallets. In addition, we now operate a smaller refrigerated warehouse in Brno, which serves as a cross-docking node for the Moravian region. In combination with our main warehouse in Dobrovíz near Prague Airport, we can achieve ideal coverage of the Czech Republic. All our warehousing and distribution services use active cooling to ensure an uninterrupted, low-temperature chain. As a further step in our ongoing development, we are working to establish a storage space for frozen storage with temperatures of -5 to -15 ° C within our iLogistic center in Prague. "
