“Working with DHL Express and using their GoGreen Plus service helps us achieve our sustainability goals and reduce our carbon footprint. Thanks to this partnership, we are able to efficiently and responsibly manage our logistics operations, which allows us to focus on our main mission - the development of intelligent solutions for energy management," says Petr Picek, strategic sourcing & supply chain manager of ComAp.

DHL Express is focused on reducing its greenhouse gas emissions through sustainable aviation fuel SAF, optimizing logistics processes for more efficient use of resources and using cleaner and more economical energy sources such as electric vehicles or e-bikes. This is in line with DHL Group's goals to achieve zero emissions by 2050, the company recalls in its press release.

It offers its customers the GoGreen Plus service, a specialized solution that helps businesses reduce Scope 3 carbon emissions (category 3 emissions, i.e. those that arise from sources that businesses do not directly control) by sending shipments using SAF. DHL Express provides detailed reporting for this service and subsequently a certificate, which companies can use to prove themselves to customers, investors and other interested parties.

A number of logistics and transport companies offer their customers the use of ecological air SAF in the transport of goods, on our website we have reported, for example, on the solutions and offers of the companies Dachser, DB Schenker or Kuehne+Nagel.
