Industrial developer CTP has completed the construction of the first hall in CTPark Hradec Králové. Premises with an area of over 5,000 square meters were rented and already taken over by the logistics company Geis, which is now using the building in trial operation. Currently, the developer is building the second hall, which it plans to complete in the spring of 2023.
The Polish logistics operator will open its first domestic warehouse in the fourth quarter of this year. The branch of Röhlig Suus Logistics, which has warehouse space with an area of 8,000 square meters, will be located in GLP Park Brno ─ Holubice.
Logistics solutions provider DB Schenker is increasing capacity at its terminal in Rudná u Prahy. Nine years ago, he opened an administrative building and warehouse there, which is still one of his largest cross-dock terminals in the Czech Republic, and will now increase its capacity by another 50%.
Demand for industrial and logistics space has increased over the past year, also as a result of the pandemic. Average storage costs in 52 global markets rose by 8.4% between June 2021 and June 2022, according to Savills. In Prague, these costs even increased by 35.8%.
GARBE, Industrial Real Estate CEE, specialist in logistics and industrial real estate, has signed a future contract with Fielmann for the occupation of approximately 30,000 square meters in GARBE Park Chomutov. The German company plans to create a highly automated production and supply center worth EUR 65 million here. The investment is part of the Fielmann Group's strategic program to improve delivery times and product availability, increase profitability while reducing costs and carbon footprint. The contract will be signed for 15 years. Complete construction completion is planned for the first half of 2023.
Developer P3 Logistic Parks leased additional premises in its Ostrava park. In the heart of the industrial metropolis of the Moravian-Silesian region, P3 will welcome the company Tefcold, which is engaged in the distribution of cooling, freezing and heating technology. The premises will be ready for occupancy at the beginning of next year.
Spaces are no longer available in the newly built Hall B in Panattoni Park Ostrov North. The remaining part of it will be used for expansion by the manufacturing company Amphenol Tuchel Industrial and also by the e-commerce company Kokiska.
Developer VGP concluded a lease agreement with Pilulka Lékárny for 4,479 square meters of warehouse space in the newly completed hall "I" in VGP Park Olomouc. The company, which is one of the largest pharmaceutical groups in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, will use the warehouse in Olomouc to supply customers in several regions: Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc and Prostějovsk. The new premises were realized at the level of BREEAM Very Good environmental certification.
