Logistics and production are increasingly relying on solar energy

Developers, tenants and owners of industrial and storage spaces in the Czech Republic are currently making large-scale investments in their own solar power plants. This trend reflects not only the progressive modernization of the energy sector, but also the turning away from dependence on fossil fuels. As part of this innovative wave, many buildings are undergoing complex technological modifications in parallel, aimed at the overall reduction of energy consumption. The largest rooftop solar power plants to date include the Urbanity Campus Tachov area, which announced an installed capacity of 5 MW and an approximate annual production of more than 5,000 MWh of electricity. This is stated by 108 Agency in its new report.

Panasonic has a new hall for the production and storage of air conditioners and pumps. It was built on a brownfield site by developer Panattoni

The building in Panattoni Park Pilsen West II welcomed a new tenant. It is Panasonic Heating & Ventilation Air-Conditioning Czech. The premises of the hall with a total area of over 24,600 square meters will be used for the production and storage of control boards for air conditioning equipment and heat pumps manufactured in the Czech Republic. The project is financed by the AEW Europe group.

The investor of the project is the Accolade group. She bought the entire area with the existing hall, which will undergo modifications. At the same time, Panattoni will build new production premises with an area of more than 20,000 square meters, which Hanon Systems will use to expand its production for new customers.

DB Schenker equips the roof of the logistics center in Rudná with photovoltaics

Zásilkovna opened its largest depot in Moravia in GLP Park in Holubice

Zásilkovna put into operation a new depot, which has an area of 11,844 square meters and is located in the GLP Park Brno Holubice complex. The main goal is to increase the efficiency of pickups and deliveries in the area of South Moravia. Employees here handle over 1.7 million shipments per month, in high season it will be up to 2.5 million shipments per month. The total investment in the largest depot of Zásilkovna in Moravia reached 17.2 million crowns.

WM Logistic Nýřany will be the new tenant in the P3 Plzeň Myslinka park

Another hall of the newly built industrial park in Myslinca near Pilsen has a confirmed tenant. The company WM Logistic Nýřany will use it as an expansion warehouse to the existing facilities. All spaces from the first stage of the construction of the P3 Plzeň Myslinka park are thus occupied.

In the Czech Republic, the construction of industrial premises has increased, but they will not cover the demand

In the first quarter of this year, 218,000 square meters of industrial space were completed in the Czech Republic. This is 21 percent more than the previous five-year average for the same period. However, increased construction still barely covers demand, which has an impact on rising rents. It grew by 30 percent last year. There are 11 million square meters of commercially leasable space in the Czech Republic, and another 1.3 million square meters are currently under construction. This was reported by the consulting company Colliers, which focuses on real estate investments, in its analysis.
