In Panattoni Park Prague Airport II, the logistics company Panalpina has opened a MAHLE distribution center for Eastern Europe and Germany

Industrial Zone Builder Panattoni Europe has completed the second project for the Swiss logistics company Panalpina near Pavlov in Kladno. The major part of the 21,000 m2 hall will be used by MAHLE, the automotive component manufacturer, as the main logistics hub for its factories in Germany, Central and Eastern Europe. The building was certified after its completion by the prestigious BREEAM 2016 ecological standard, Very Good. The smaller Panalpina's first hall at Panattoni Park Prague Airport II will continue to serve as a hub for air, sea and road transport and for other small to medium-sized logistics customers.

VGP will build a logistics park in Central Slovakia

PPG Deco Czech, a producer of Primalex and Balakryl paints, opens its new distribution center in Modřice near Brno, where it leased 6,500 square meters from CTP Invest. The Accolade Group has decided to expand the portfolio of successful projects in the Karlovy Vary region and plans to build a hall near Okrouhlá near Cheb. The aim of the project is a building for light production and logistics. This will increase the share of modern industry in the region and at the same time help to further develop the infrastructure of the municipality. The intention to build industrial buildings in the locality is already in the municipal plan already in 2013. The expected completion of the construction of up to 80 000 m2 should be by the end of 2021.

Panattoni Europe will reconstruct the production hall in an exclusive Pilsen location

One of the most lucrative industrial areas in Central Europe will offer an unexpected new opportunity for development. Yazaki, a manufacturer of automotive components, will leave the hall in Bory Pole in Pilsen by the end of the year and the industrial zone builder will then reconstruct it and offer it to new tenants. The 25,000 m2 hall stands out for its location in a traditional, well-established location near the city center, with excellent transport infrastructure links and high-quality engineering facilities. After reconstruction, it will be suitable for both high-tech manufacturing and fully automated logistics.

Municipalities reject the developers' plans for new warehouses and factories for the built highways

Development projects for the construction of logistics and industrial centers at the planned highway congresses often face the resistance of town halls. This applies to some locations near the D3 motorway in the vicinity of České Budějovice and the D35 motorway in East Bohemia under construction. Builders also have problems with the existing D8 motorway near Prague.
