T-Park, which is managed by the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Center Ostrava (MSIC), is a center of technological research and development. A number of innovative companies such as Porsche Engineering or Invent Medical operate here. The new T6 building aims to take this potential even further: the project aims to create an ecosystem that integrates tenants from the technology industries (mainly automotive, IT and medicine) with students from local universities."T-Park's close proximity to the university campus of Vysoké školy báňská - Ostrava Technical University also naturally connects our tenants with those who bring new ideas," says Jakub Kodr, CEO and Commercial Director of CTP in the Czech Republic.
The building will offer five floors of flexible spaces, including offices, development labs, coworking zones, CTBoxes (these are units with an area of 480 to 8000 m2 that offer shop, warehouse and office functions under "one roof") and prototype workshops. The project will also include dozens of fully equipped rental apartments and two underground floors with parking areas with a total area of 9,000 m². A cafe will be created on the ground floor of the building.
In terms of design, at the interface with the family houses, the T 6 building will acquire a terrace-like character, while towards the VŠB-TUO university campus it will reach full height, thereby ensuring maximum use of space. The ground floor of the building will fulfill a social function with a planned restaurant, cafe, kindergarten and coworking zones, while development laboratories, office spaces and shared laboratories will be created on the upper floors. This project brings another dimension to T-Park - modern facilities, community elements and space for an intensive connection of science, business and education. Developer CTP began to cooperate with the Ostrava municipality in 2003.
