It has leased more than a third to logistics companies such as DB Schenker, DHL and Vit Logistics, and has also seen interest from manufacturing companies and e-shops.

A record amount of industrial space is under construction in the Czech Republic

This is according to a study by Savills. In the Czech Republic, the most industrial space is currently being built or completed in the Karlovy Vary, Pilsen and Moravian-Silesian regions, where a total of 763,000 m2 was under construction at the end of 2024. The most active developers in these areas are Panattoni and CTP Invest.

A new industrial park will be built near Ostrava Airport

Developer CTP is launching a new project within the development of Ostrava's Technology Park in Pustkovec (also known as T-park). The project, with an estimated investment of 50 million euros, is due to be completed at the end of 2027.

The study showed that dark facades of industrial properties increase the heat island effect

The study, carried out as part of the upcoming Panattoni Park Pilsen West III project by Buildigo, showed that dark facades mean up to a threefold increase in the heat island effect compared to the use of light facade surfaces. The combination of light surfaces and strategically placed greenery can also improve the perceived temperature by up to 20 percent, even compared to the original undeveloped location. The results of the study were published by the developer Panattoni.
